Description
Simon Ndegwa is an occupational therapy practitioner with over ten years of experience in neonatal screening, assessment and treatment of congenital and acquired conditions limiting participation in daily life activities in both children and adults.He holds a diploma in occupational therapy from KMTC, Nairobi campus and has a passion for creating, training and adapting/modifying a safe and a disability friendly environment for persons with various disabilities which limit participation in daily life activities.
Currently Simon works at Mama Margaret Uhuru hospital and various private clinics as an oncall occupational therapist where he manages neonatal insult conditions, physical dysfunction in children and adults, intellectual disabilities in children, speech delays among others.
His efforts have led increase in number of patients receiving various services in the facilities.
Simon is highly skilled in upper arm injury management, special aides fabrication, environment modifications to mention just but a few .He is also involved in, disability awareness creation for easy referrals and timely management.
